Kellisa’s Top 5 Pre-pandemic Reads
💜 Kellisa’s pre-pandemic favorites 💜
Since it’s almost the end of 2020 (thank gawd 😅) I’ve been thinking a lot about how I want to share my favorite reads from this year. I’ve said many times that looking back on the beginning of the year feels like a totally different time. I barely remember most of what even happened from January to early March, let alone all the books I read. Thankfully I’ve been keeping a GR folder with my favorite reads from the year (thank you past me for starting that!) These five books were the ones I read and really really loved prior to the world falling apart.
✨ A Favor for a Favor. I LOVE this spin off series by Helena Hunting. This was easily my favorite of the series but I adored all of them.
✨ Three Little Words. I cannot recommend this book enough, one of my absolute favorites from Jenny Holiday. I mean you just can’t go wrong with a road trip romance!
✨ The Worst Best Man. Adored this one so much. This was my first Mia Sosa and it was delightful. I can’t wait for the next book!
✨ Big Bad Cowboy. Read this with the @readforeverpub read along (how was that this year 😳) and I love love loved it. I loved the second from Carly Bloom just as much (it will be in my other favorites list) Make space for me in Big Verde, TX please! I’d move to that quirky town in a heartbeat.
✨ Undone. This whole trilogy from Kelly Rimmer is such a win for me. I adored the other two books last year and this one was just as great. Some heavier themes but so well done.
