How many books have you read this year that immediately ended up on your favorites list? The Roommate by @rosiedanan was one that had me swooning as I read it (and fanning myself if I’m being honest 🤣🔥🥵) Even my husband read and loved this fantastic book! I I already posted a review of The Roommate a few months ago after I read it, but once Berkley gifted me a finished copy I had to post again the reasons I loved this book so, so much!

Here are some of the reasons I loved The Roommate and gave it all the stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟:

💕 Feminist and sex-positive! If you’re looking for a sex-positive contemporary romance, this is a great one! 🙌

💕 Friends-to-lovers! Sure Clara and Josh are total strangers at first, but the friendship they build throughout the book is so so good. 

💕 Forced proximity! Give me any book where characters are forced to be roommates 😍

💕 Holy steam, Batman! 🔥 This might be @rosiedanan’s debut, but girlfriend can write some STEAM! 👏

💕 Cinnamon roll hero! Josh is swoon-city, he might be an experienced sex worker but that man is a gooey cinnamon roll at heart. 🥰

The hype is real for this one! I loved it so much and cannot wait for the next book, The Intimacy Experiment, to come out in April 2021! Highly recommend snagging a copy of The Roommate today! 💜
