I’m on a full blown contemporary romance kick lately! These are three books I read and LOVED πŸ₯° I planned to do full reviews for all of them (and I still will eventually) but I’m totally not in a reviewing mood πŸ˜… I just wanted to post brief recommendations for all three books in the meantime! πŸ’œ Kellisa⁣ ⁣

✨ Shortcake by Lucy Watson: Loooved so much of this one! This debut has so many different tropes that I adore, forced proximity, sunshine and grump πŸ₯°πŸ”₯ its a slow burn, but 100% delightful trip to get to the steamy stuff. Great banter and side characters! The ending went a little fast, but I cannot wait for more books from this author! (On KU)⁣ ⁣

✨ Kiss My Cupcake by Helena Hunting: I adore pretty much any book by HH and this was no different! Forced proximity, hate to love between two competing bar owners. This was a delightful low-angst read that still had a lot of heart πŸ₯° I loved the slow burn romance and the scenes with their quirky families! ⁣ ⁣

✨ The Trouble with Hating You by Sajni Patel: such a strong and well done debut! I loved this #ownvoices romance. If you love enemies to lovers, I think this is a must try. The chemistry between these two isn’t immediate, there is definitely a lot of dislike in the beginning. It really felt like they hated each other at parts. Even so I felt a whole lot of swoon while I read it!⁣ ⁣

Thank you Forever Romance for my gifted copies of Kiss My Cupcake and The Trouble with Hating You! ⁣ ⁣
